An Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment application has been submitted to permit the Pardale Activity Recreation Centre (PARC) to develop a 10- and 7-storey mixed-use building at 1497–1501 Queen Street West (including 89–91 Beaty Avenue).

The proposal includes:

  • 141 affordable rental housing units, including 50 rental replacement units
  • Approximately 8,341 square metres of gross floor area (GFA)
  • Retention of the historic façades at 1497 and 1501 Queen Street West
  • Community and office space within the building
  • 5 vehicular parking spaces and 157 bicycle parking spaces

A related Rental Housing Demolition and Conversion application is being reviewed concurrently.
