The PRA facilitates Arts and Culture events. See below for our past and current events:
ARTISTS IN FLUX is a grassroots initiative addressing the urgent challenges facing Parkdale artists in building cultural resilience. Through interactive panels, workshops, and peer-led discussions, AiF equips artists of all experience levels with the tools to sustain their practice, build support networks, and navigate the affordability crisis.
MUSIC IN THE PARK. In June and July 2025, the PRA created a free weekly concert series featuring local musicians, food and vendor tables. Held in the late afternoon and early evening, in partnership with Exhibition Place, the event created a space for the community to gather, slow-down and chill. Gotta love it!
THE PARKDALE ART THING. On September 23, 2023, at the corner of Queen St. West and Cowan Ave., PRA organized an outdoor arts-centered event called “The Parkdale Art Thing”, to showcase various artists, performers, and community programs. The event aimed to highlight Parkdale as a creative hub and offer networking opportunities for local artists.
