In Support of the Tibetan People

At the latest general meeting the PRA passed expressed support for the tibetan people:

We, the members of the Parkdale Residents Association, acknowledge the positive
contribution to our community of our Tibetan neighbours. We express our support for them
and their families in Tibet at this important time of turmoil in their homeland.     ...

PRA members call for the intervention of our Canadian politicians to urge
the Chinese government to stop the brutal repression on the people of Tibet and immediately
work towards a political solution for the Tibetan people by engaging in official negotiation at
the highest level with the Dalai Lama in the presence of an observer from Canada.

On the one hand its a useful

On the one hand its a useful tool to have the long list of anti-development agencyies 642-515 and groups like we do here in Ottawa; with often extremly strict and narrow views, they often can suffocate642-533 developments or at times just trip them up. But in this case as many, these groups offer great risk, if this comes down to less than 6 stories, it will be a350-050 monothlic box, end of story, with even more profit maxing...It often intrigues me what they find so unfit, houses and yes CONDOS/Intensifcation are needed in all cities, and yes sometimes near your house too, its how cities grow andE20-322 become vibrant dense patchs of urban networks and communities... Nonetheless it does AT TIMES keep developers in line, but the sense of HEIGHT NEVER WORKS in this city is attrocious.
